The Council of Ministers Decision Nr. 432, dated 08.04.2008 granted to our companies SGA and SPAHIU-GJANC (part of the GJO-SPA Power ltd joint venture) the BOT (Build, Operation and Transfer)  concession of Lapaj hydropower plant with installed active capacity of 13.6 MW.

SGA was chosen as the designer of the project and the initial contractor of the joint venture. The electro-mechanical works and equipment for this hydropower plant were procured in Austria from subcontractor companies Kossler Gmbh and Schubert Gmbh, as in the case of Gjanc hydropower plant.

Lapaj HPP with the installed active power of 13.6 MW was put in operation in September 2012. SGA jsc owns shares in the joint venture company “GJO-SPA Power” ltd and is one of the proprietors of the hydro power plant.
